After being classically trained on the violin from the age of three,
Wooz first stepped to the turntables in '94 at the tender age of 11, and
quickly became respected within the local DJ community. After several years
and having mastered mixing, he decided to turn his hand to cutting and
juggling.

He then started to perform his skills with artists such as the
Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and Cleveland Watkiss, at venues such as the
Barbican Theatre, and the Jazz Café. He then became part of a crew named the
"Drunken Allstars" who deliver a five turntable Breakbeat showcase, and
provided the cuts on the mix cds, and showcases.

Encouraged by his successes, Wooz entered his first ever competition, the DMC 2000 London heat. He gained a highly respectable second place, and the right to compete in the UK finals. This has led to features on MTV Base and the UK finals
video.

Wooz is involved in a weekly radio show on London's Origin fm, and
writes a page for the recently established Lexicon Magazine. His scratching has
also been featured on the Playstation 2, and shown on Rapture TV.

Past appearances include
Smoove @ Ministry Of Sound (residency)
 The End
 Traffic @ Club Colloseum (residency)
 Shepherds Bush Empire
 Together As One @ Bagleys
 Garage Fever
